UKHSA commission air quality monitoring for particulate matter and nitrogen dioxide. Six small air quality monitors providing live data have been installed in the area surrounding the Tower and can be found on the Breathe London Communities website.

• Kingsdown Close (ceased operation in September 2025 and re-positioned at Kensington Aldridge Academy – east)
• Grenfell Road (ceased operation in June 2025 and re-positioned at Station Walk)
There is a reference standard air quality monitor providing live data that can be found on the London Air website: London Air, Kensington and Chelsea – Station Walk.
Monitoring of asbestos fibres in air around the Grenfell site boundary is also undertaken.
UKHSA will continue to all summarise monitoring data with reports made available via GOV.UK.
