The NW London Integrated Care System (ICS) covers the eight boroughs of NW London (Brent, Ealing, Hammersmith & Fulham, Harrow, Hillingdon, Hounslow, Kensington & Chelsea and Westminster) and brings together all health and care organisations working to deliver against the four core national objectives of ICSs which are to:

  • Improve outcomes in population health and health care
  • Prevent ill health and tackle inequalities in outcomes, experience and access
  • Enhance productivity and value for money
  • Support broader economic and social development

Our ICS is currently led by an independent Chair, Penny Dash, and chief executive, Rob Hurd.

NHS North West London (NHS NW London), legally known as NHS North West London Integrated Care Board (ICB) contracts health services locally and oversees the local NHS budget. It is one of the two components of the ICS and covers the same boroughs.

Neither the ICS or NHS NW London runs services directly. These are operated by providers such as NHS Trusts.
