Manage your diabetes safely during Ramadan

Do you want help with managing your diabetes safely during Ramadan?

MyWay Digital Health has partnered with Diabetes and Ramadan International Alliance (DaR) to bring you two courses for managing diabetes during Ramadan. Containing helpful advice, information and tips, these free courses are aimed at both people living with diabetes and healthcare professionals.

Both courses are available in English, Arabic and Malay and diabetes experts will be on hand at regular intervals during Ramadan month (10 March to 9 April) to answer your queries via Q&A sessions.

The courses go live at midnight on Monday 19 February and will remain open throughout Ramadan, so that you can come back to revisit the content (you may also want to signpost other people living with diabetes to them). You can also access a Ramadan information page here: Ramadan | Know Diabetes, and join the 40,000 north west Londoners who have a KnowDiabetes account to help them manage their diabetes.

All the pages on the KnowDiabetes website are accessible in other languages using the Reach Deck accessibility tool, which can translate the website into over 100 different languages. The toolbar can be accessed by clicking on the orange icon on the bottom right corner of the site - there’s a helpful explainer video on the languages page here: Languages | Know Diabetes.

Registration for the courses is now open at https://ramadan.mydiabetes.com/ Ramadan | Know Diabetes and you can sign up for tailored advice, translated videos, recipe plans and more here.
