The local NHS is running a number of health campaigns to support those affected by the Grenfell Tower fire. Our aim is to provide information and advice to former tower residents and other local residents to help them stay well.

For those living in hotels and temporary accommodation it may be difficult to maintain a healthy diet and get enough exercise but it is very important to do so, otherwise there is a risk of developing Type 2 Diabetes. The local NHS is launching a campaign to help residents recognise the diabetes risk factors and to promote healthy living. The campaign will also aim to promote the many existing resources available from the NHS to help those who are living with the condition.

Diabetes UK has developed an easy to use tool that can help you with checking symptoms. You can access it here.

You can also watch this video which explains a bit more about what it means to be at risk.
