Your invitation to the Grenfell Health Recovery Network event

Published on: Monday 27 July 2026

Dear colleagues and community partners,

At North Kensington Recovery (NKR), we have been working with our partners to develop a community led approach to recovery. We know 2026-27 is an important transition year for shaping Grenfell specific health services to be delivered from April 2027.

So, as part of this community led approach, we want to hear your views on how we should run the NKR programme.

To make this happen, the Grenfell Health Recovery Network has been set up to bring together bereaved families, survivors, local associations, organisations, and local residents, to make sure the voices of the North Kensington community remain at the centre of recovery.

We will provide opportunities for you to co-design some parts of the service and make sure priorities, including cultural competence, remain central to how we provide care in future.

Further information on the Network can be found at Grenfell Health Recovery Network.

We are delighted to invite you to join the first meeting of the Grenfell Health Recovery Network:
•    Date: Tuesday 11 August 2026
•    Time: 5:30pm
•    Location: Unity Conference Room, the Westway Trust, 1 Thorpe Close, London W10 5XL

We are very grateful that Mr Abdurahman Sayed, Chief Executive Officer of Al Manaar Muslim Cultural Heritage Centre, has agreed to serve as the independent Chair of the Grenfell Health Recovery Network.

Future meetings will be arranged as part of the new governance structure of the NKR programme (North Kensington Recovery Committee). A schedule of meetings from now until 31 March 2027 will be shared with Network participants soon.

If you are interested in attending, please register by emailing nhsnwl.nkrt@nhs.net. You will then be sent an agenda with more information about what will be discussed at the meeting.

Do you have questions about the Network? If so, please email Mr. Abdurahman Sayed, and Mr. Krishna Sarda, at nhsnwl.nkrt@nhs.net.

Thank you.
With very best wishes,
North Kensington Recovery Team
